From scheme of work to lesson note to parent visibility — one approval trail, across Primary, Secondary and Tertiary institutions.
Every term, teachers write out schemes of work and lesson notes, HODs chase them for approval, and admins have no real visibility into what's actually been taught until report-card season exposes the gaps. The AGID EDU TECH Scheme of Work Management System replaces that entire paper trail with a structured, approval-driven workflow — built for Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary institutions alike.
A Scheme of Work is the term-long topic outline — one row per week, covering objectives, activities, and resources for the whole term. A Lesson Note is the detailed teaching plan for one specific topic within that scheme — previous knowledge, objectives, step-by-step presentation, evaluation, and assignment. The system treats them as the two connected documents they actually are: a lesson note can only be written against a scheme topic that's already been approved.
Teachers and HODs create schemes of work and lesson notes, and both go through HOD review before they're visible to anyone else. Nothing reaches a student or parent until it's actually been approved — so what's published is always what the school has signed off on, not just what a teacher uploaded.
Once a scheme topic is approved, HODs and teachers mark it as in-progress or completed as the term goes on. That gives school leadership a live, topic-by-topic picture of curriculum coverage across every class and subject — instead of finding out in Week 12 that half a syllabus was never touched.
Every long-form field — objectives, activities, resources, lesson presentation, evaluation, assignments — runs on a full rich-text editor supporting formatting, headings, lists, tables, and embedded images, similar to Microsoft Word. Content is sanitized on the server before it's saved, so what's rendered to students and parents is always safe.
Admins assign each teacher to specific subject-and-class combinations for the current term — and a teacher can only create a scheme of work for combinations they've actually been assigned. HODs aren't limited this way, since they can create schemes for any subject in the department they head.
Beyond individual schools, the system supports a platform-wide Content Library of generic, ready-to-use schemes of work and lesson notes. Any institution's HOD or teacher can import a published library topic as a starting point rather than building from a blank page, and anyone — even outside a registered school — can create a free Individual account to browse it.
Each institution's data is completely separate from every other institution on the platform, and the system supports Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary structures out of the box — so a group running multiple school types can put all of them on one system without their content or users ever mixing.

Every database query runs through prepared statements, passwords are bcrypt-hashed, and every form is CSRF-protected. Role checks guard every page — a student account cannot open an admin page even by guessing the URL — and parent access to a child's records is verified against the actual parent-student link on every single request.
From a single-campus secondary school to a group running primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions side by side, the Scheme of Work Management System scales to fit — one login per role, one approval trail, one clear picture of what's actually being taught.
